Many people struggle with things like obesity, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or just eating healthier. It must be frustrating and hopeless, trying different things that just don’t seem to work for them.

Initial Assessment
- 60 – 90 minutes
- Takes place via telehealth

3 Month Package
- 1 minute initial session
- 5 follow-ups

Follow-Up Session
- 30 – 45 minutes
- Takes place via telehealth
- Review of progress made towards goals
- Set new goals to continue development of healthy habits

ATTENTION AETNA CLIENTS: Per their Nutrition Counseling Policy, Aetna requires nutrition counseling to be prescribed. Therefore, I will need documentation of your diagnoses code(s) faxed in the form of a referral, even though a referral may not be required by your insurance plan. The referral must be received prior to your appointment. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
MEDICARE CLIENTS: Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans only cover visits if you have diabetes or non-dialysis chronic kidney disease stages 3 – 5 and require a referral from your doctor. The referral can be faxed and must be received prior to your appointment. Please note:  at least one new referral is required each new calendar year.

What is it like working with you?
During the initial consultation, we will go over your history and what led you to wanting to make a change. We will develop your health vision and set goals to help you begin forming healthier habits.
During the follow-up, we will talk about progress you made towards your goals and any obstacles that may exist. We will also discuss a topic that is important to you that day. You will have the opportunity to continue working on your goals or to set new goals so that you may fulfill your vision.
Do you provide meal plans?
I work with clients to implement healthier food choices that the clients feel they can maintain long term. While a meal plan may consist of recommended foods and amounts, they may not fit into a client’s lifestyle.
Please note: Meal plans are not covered by health insurance plans. Therefore, they are an out-of-pocket expense.
Do you do group sessions?
If you and a significant other are interested in group sessions, please note that the initial assessment for all clients is a 1:1 session. This gives you the ability to dive deep so that I may have a better understanding of what YOUR goals are. After the initial assessment is complete, then the follow-up sessions can be group sessions if you choose.
How long will it take to reach my health goal?
Each person is individual and different. Not everyone will reach their goals within the same amount of time. However, I recommend at least 3 months of sessions to implement change and work towards your goals.
What kind of results can I expect? Is it guaranteed that I will lose weight?
Each person is different. Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee that you will reach your health goals or reach your goals within a certain time frame.
